Innovact 2009

The Everlastick team is officially invited to participate to the European Innovation Championship

This championship is organised since 7 years, by Innovact, with the participation of the European Commision and the "Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie" (CCI) of Reims, promotes the best projects of activity creation brought by students or young researchers from across Europe.

The final part of the competition will take place the 24th of March 2009. We must present our project to a panel of professionals and journalists headed by Luuk Borg, Director of the Eureka Secretariat and head of European financing program Eurostars. Finally this jury nominate projects that will have, in their view, dare, creativity, sustainability and professionalism.

We received the Everlastick goodies

Teddy bear Everlastick Just before launching the beta we thought that we should do something special. The T-shirts, stickers and hats arrived. We can already wear our colors proudly. We also make some USB sticks with the logo Everlastick, but also the software on them in Alpha version.

The development of the software is still in progress, but it will be disponible very soon so stay tuned.

The Epitech Innovative Project Week-End

During this weekend of October, organized by EPITECH, all the projects of the 2009 students were presented to the public. We met, developers, potential future users and also companys interested by the virtual desktop. This could indeed respond to many needs, we are open to any proposal
The event also permits us to identify the most importants needs of our users.

Our virtual desktop finally visible

After a long period of absence we are back with images of the software, the first public beta is planned for very soon. We had a lot of work lately. .

You can completely configure your virtual desktop on USB key by choosing the modules and applications you are interested in. The following screenshots will show you the current software interface.

The first images will be available for late April 2008 if all goes well. The software starts moving from project to code, we will inform you of the evolution of development as. The version on which we are working is an alpha version, which will be intended for internal testing and our partners in the EGE.

Everlastick Blog is released

Hi,

We will be happy to inform you about the evolutions of our projet here.

We are 6 french guys excited about new technologies, we are from various fields of computer sciences.

The European Institute of Technologies, Epitech, has brought us together around this project.

To give you an ergonomic tool and respond to the needs of the more demanding people we are partner of the Economical Warfare School from Paris.

You will have more details in the coming weeks, to be as close as possible to what our future users are waiting for, your comments and suggestions are welcome, too.
